In addition to teaching advanced legal research and coordinating the law library's participation in the first-year legal research program, she administers all aspects of the law library's public services area, including access services, reference, and bibliographic instruction. Her interest in incorporating educational technologies into legal education has engendered a number of recent projects beyond the CALI exercise co-authored with Librarian Ken Strutin. In 1996, she was awarded a grant to develop a multimedia, instructional website on How to Use the Barclay Law Library for non-law students and inexperienced legal researchers. In the same year, she spearheaded development of an innovative website for Syracuse's first-year legal research and writing program which integrates communication tools with instructional materials in a variety of formats. She has shared her experience with technology in libraries and legal education at a number of national and regional library conferences.

Ms. Scott earned her M.L.S. and M.A. (art history) from Syracuse University. Prior to coming to the College of Law, she was instructor of art history and librarian at the American College of Switzerland in Leysin.
